How many refresher lessons do most people need?
It depends entirely on your comfort level and goals. Some learners feel confident after 1-2 lessons; others prefer an ongoing series. There's no fixed package — book as many or as few as you need.
Can I book a refresher lesson in my own car?
Most ACOFEL instructors teach in their own dual-control vehicle, but some are happy to assess you in your own car on request — check with your instructor before booking.
I have an overseas licence — can I convert it in Australia?
Licence conversion rules vary by state and country of origin. ACOFEL instructors can help build your confidence with local road rules, but you'll need to check conversion requirements with your state's road authority separately.
Is a refresher lesson the same price as a normal lesson?
Yes — refresher lessons are booked and priced the same as any standard lesson with that instructor. There's no separate refresher rate.
