licensed in QLD.

All ACOFEL instructors in Queensland are authorised by Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR). Here's what it takes to become a licensed instructor in QLD.

Become an instructor

    Hold a valid open driver licence for at least 1 continuous year immediately prior to applying

    Complete a TLI41225 Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training

  • 3

    Pass traffic and criminal history checks

  • 4

    Hold a Suitability Card (Blue Card) from the Public Safety Business Agency

  • 5

    Obtain approval from the Chief Executive of the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR)

  • 6

    Drive a dual-control vehicle approved by TMR
